Still working on getting the most professional and succinct website design for this stage in my career, particularly one that best highlights my newfound passion for book writing! My previous design highlighted my former passion for wedding and portrait photography but I found that I was living in fear that someone would actually contact me for business 😦 I have discovered that at this stage in my life I have little appetite for living up to other people’s expectations of me. Don’t know if this is a common theme for others who have reached the scaling down phase of life or not, but I’m definitely striving for simplicity!
As always, the best of these images and hundreds more are available for purchase on my website as wall art on glossy metal or acrylic sheets, stretched canvas and traditional matting and framing. Tons of cool household and gift items are also available with any image you like including coffee mugs, t-shirts, blankets and pillows, battery chargers, phone cases, stationary and much much more! Just click on any image you like and all the choices, sizes and prices will appear! For my viewers interested in images for commercial use, please visit my image licensing portal! Also, if you would like to see a more complete record of today’s images please follow my Instagram account!
Many of my adventures have also been captured on beautiful HD video on my Youtube Channel! If you enjoy my content please subscribe to my channel, subscribers have a big impact on channel rankings!
May I start out by mentioning that this article is not relevant for my WordPress followers who already understand the concept of a blog post.
It has recently come to my attention that many of my social media followers are not aware that most of my posts are actually links to articles, videos and prints that I have produced. WordPress and Youtube both allow for the designation of a thumbnail image to entice viewers to click and open the product. What I get however are not visits to my blog and videos but instead likes and comments on the thumbnail itself.
So I have decided to put instructions on the thumbnail itself indicating to the viewers what to do, I.E. click the thumbnail to open the product, whether it be an article, a video, a print for sale or a link to some important information.
Recent comments from customers… “There are too many to choose from!”. Maybe true, S.W. Krull Imaging has now surpassed 1800 of my finest images in the collection on my website! And true enough, it takes forever to get to some of the older ones if you are scrolling through them one at a time!
Three deer peering out from the snow
Fortunately my website has some solutions for this problem. The first solution is called Galleries. Galleries are the categories that I have created to organize the pictures by topic. For example, all the wildlife images are in one place and all the sunset images are grouped together in one place. The main landing page of my website shows the galleries and if you click on them you will be shown the contents of that gallery. The next method of narrowing down the number of selections is the search tool. For example this morning I was looking for a particular image of three deer in snow that I posted a long time ago. By date of course this image was way back in the collection and I didn’t want to even scroll through all the wildlife images to find it, so I simply added snow to the search terms. That of course narrowed the selections down to only the pictures of wildlife that had been take in the snows of our Rocky Mountain winters.
Hopefully that will help with finding suitable images for your artwork needs. Please keep in mind that S. W. Krull Imaging doesn’t just sell wall art, although there is some very cool stuff to decorate your home in that area including the pictures on glossy acrylic and metal sheets. In addition to the wall art there is some very cool everyday items such as t-shirts and coffee mugs, blankets, shower curtains, portable battery chargers, exercise mats and more! In addition to photography products sold as art, S.W. Krull Imaging also provides commercial licensing for each of these images through the stock licensing portal of this website. The galleries and search options for stock are the same as the ones available for artwork.
I hope you will pay my website a visit and poke around a bit for your favorite image! In the meantime I still have a bunch of cool sunset images from last night’s photo shoot to process!
