Finally getting to my May newsletter, after a month of hard work on my new substack account. May has been an exciting month, with the end of the long Colorado winter, and the return of many species of birds to the high country rivers and lakes.

We Have Eaglets
WE HAVE EAGLETS - Mama eagle has remained in the nest long past the projected hatch date, so we assumed there were baby eagles to care for. But was it one, two, three? We didn't know until now, but I have confirmed there are at least two!

Cold Call: A Road Trip to the City
I don’t make the trip to the city very often, but I’ll go when I finally cobble together enough activities to make the long trip worth while! I finished off a couple rolls of film a few weeks ago, and have been looking for the opportunity to make a trip to my favorite lab, Englewood Camera. To really make the trip worthwhile, I also planned on making a cold call at a local bookstore to see if they might stock my series of novels, Spirit of the Wolf and Thundering Hooves.
