I feel like I’ve been in limbo since the completion of my book Thundering Hooves last fall. I have an idea for a sequel, but no storyline has materialized just yet in my mind.
I redesigned my website to include portrait photography to try to bring in some money, but I knew my heart wasn’t in it. I started my photography career shooting model portfolios, but the industry has changed, and those days are far behind me.

I saw a report first thing this morning about the first cattle depredation from one of Colorado’s new wolves from Canada. I wondered, bow many cattle froze to death this winter, how many starved, how many died from disease. Why aren’t those losses reported in the paper. Why are wolf losses the only ones getting any press?
At that very moment, I knew what my next phase of life would be. I knew what my blog would be about, and I knew how to redesign my website.
So I will be bringing you news from the front line in the war on wildlife, including pictures, video, statistics, numbers, and news. I hope you will join me in doing my part to preserve our beautiful four footed living legacy!
