I'm pleased to announce that "Episode One - The Intrepid Trio" has been published! The War on Wildlife is my latest novel based on the characters developed in my previous novels, Spirit of the Wolf and Thundering Hooves. I am writing The War on Wildlife in response to the government's recent attempts to roll back endangered species protections on wolves, and wipe out wild horse herds in the Rocky Mountain West.

Joy in the Canyon

Colorado Osprey

I love this time of year in the canyon. Young wildlife is past the newborn stage and are just now experiencing the joy of their new legs and wings. Young osprey are especially excited about their newfound powers and unlike their more mature parents, they spend much of their day in flight. They don't realize it yet, but their games are preparing them for a 4000 mile journey that will begin in about a month.

The Amigos Return

Three Amigos

For many of you who have been following my blog for many years, the Three Amigos are a familiar sight. But after a long cold winter, it always brings my heart joy to see them in the spring, happy, healthy, and still together after almost a decade of following them.

Last Day for Thundering Hooves

Wild Sand Wash Mustangs

Today is the last day my readers can celebrate Wild Horse Protection Month with a free eBook copy of Thundering Hooves. The month is almost over, and the book will go back to it's regular price starting tomorrow.

Cold Call: A Road Trip to the City

Streets of Littleton Colorado

I don’t make the trip to the city very often, but I’ll go when I finally cobble together enough activities to make the long trip worth while! I finished off a couple rolls of film a few weeks ago, and have been looking for the opportunity to make a trip to my favorite lab, Englewood Camera. To really make the trip worthwhile, I also planned on making a cold call at a local bookstore to see if they might stock my series of novels, Spirit of the Wolf and Thundering Hooves.
