Epic Wildlife Adventure: Protecting Nature’s Wild Heroes

I thought I would put together this post comprised of nice quotes from others, to announce the completion of my wildlife trilogy which I am calling by the name of the last book in the series, “The War On Wildlife”, as the entire trilogy is indeed about this nation’s war on it’s own four footed wild legacy.

“While this wildlife adventure trilogy, The War On Wildlife is classified as a “Romantic Adventure,” its dramatic elements stem from the inherent majesty and struggle for survival in nature, not just the kind of prose typical of a human-focused dramatic novel.”

“The wilderness calls to the soul, a silent, primal summons Steven W. Krull answers with every shot of his camera and stroke of his pen, capturing the raw, untamed spirit of the natural world in all its harsh beauty.

His work plunges the reader into a realm where survival is the only narrative, where the wolf’s howl echoes not as a plea, but as a testament to an eternal, fierce freedom, painted against the unforgiving canvas of the Rocky Mountains.”

“The true drama in his pages lies not in the machinations of human hearts, but in the epic, silent battles of the wild, a world where the changing light on a mountain peak is as significant as any contrived tragedy.”

Krull’s trilogy is not just a story of wildlife preservation, it is a reflection of life in today’s America as his eclectic cast of characters struggle to find their place in society. A photographer, a young forest ranger, a fashion model, and a bartender come of age in a saga that spans the American west. The story begins with Spirit of the Wolf, in Yellowstone National Park as one of America’s most famous wild wolves inspires an entire country with her cunning, courage and uncanny ability to thrive and provide for her famous pack.

A fashion photographer in the Bay Area of California hears of the beloved wolf’s exploits and answers the call of the wild, eventually relocating to Montana where he teams up with a group of wildlife advocates as they try to protect their precious wildlife from destruction at the hand of hunters, trappers, and the very government agencies tasked with their preservation.

Meanwhile in Colorado, the story continues with Thundering Hooves, as the government hatches a plan to destroy a popular herd of mustangs known as the Sand Wash Basin wild horse herd. Once again a famous wild beast in the form of a gallant stallion captures the nation’s heart, and our cast of characters are required to overcome heartbreak, loss, and personal tragedy in one dangerous adventure after another to do their part to save the herd from cruel and destructive helicopter roundups conducted by an unpopular government agency.

The saga continues in Colorado with The War On Wildlife, as a new Republican administration unleashes an all out war on wildlife and public land throughout the American West. Our intrepid cast of characters struggle to find a new life after the devestation of the pandemic, and are called upon to intervene once again as Colorado’s newly reintroduced wolf pack struggles for survival in the face of intense hatred from the state’s ranching and hunting communities.

Through this beautiful cast of characters, readers will become immersed in the true stories of some of America’s most beloved wild animals, and this country’s efforts to preserve wildlife and wilderness for future generations. The entires series can be purchased in paperback and eBook format on Amazon, or indivdually in the provided links, above
