This action and adventure fictional adaptation of the life of Picasso, the real life King of the Sand Wash Basin herd. brought to you through fictional main characters and some fictional activities interspersed with actual historical events, will bring the story of the despicable treatment of these animals by the government agency entrusted to care for them, to even more people through this gritty and raw tale of love, loss and triumph
In addition to the exciting story, the book also contains a few monochrome images of actual wild mustangs now running free at the Sand Wash Basin of Colorado.
Thundering Hooves is the second in my series of wildlife novels, beginning with Spirit of the Wolf, the real life story of the famous Yellowstone wolf 06. Spirit of the wolf also introduces the main characters for the series, and tells their exciting story as well.
